Southwell Rotary Club and Southwell Lions would like to thank all those who supported last month’s Big Macmillan Coffee morning in Trebeck Hall.
A grand total of £1,600 was raised for Macmillan Cancer Care which brings the cumulative total over the past 15 years to a staggering £21,000.
Thanks are due not only to those who came and spent on the day, but also everyone who contributed items and worked so hard both front of house and behind the scenes. Special thanks go to those Minster School pupils who volunteered their time and joined the team of experienced helpers. A new face was that of Ralph Davies, who added colour to the occasion in his Town Crier’s costume; a more familiar one was that of Andy Arrowsmith who, having stepped back from frontline management this year, still helped out on the day!
