Time to get Udderley Excited for Griddle & Shake!

You might recognise local chef and entrepreneur Ed Halls from the Clock House Cafe in Upton. He has many years’ experience in the catering industry and has worked in Michelin starred restaurants as well as being a private chef and proud owner of two award winning eateries.

This month he has launched an exciting new venture, Griddle & Shake, which opened its first restaurant at Nine Fletcher Gate, The Lace Market. The vibrant city of Nottingham was chosen as the first of many planned locations for the burger brand which aims to take the UK market by storm.

Griddle & Shake had an exceptional first day with a large number of eager customers visiting the restaurant for their first Griddle & Shake experience.

With a buzzing atmosphere Monday-Saturday from 11.30am-11pm and 11.30am-5pm Sundays and introductory offers available over the next few weeks, now is the perfect time to enjoy your first Griddle & Shake experience.

Offering a wide selection of awesome food including unlimited free toppings for beef burgers, chicken burgers, pulled pork, chicken wings and the UK’s first Tempeh burger, Griddle & Shake is set to be extremely popular with the foodies of Nottingham. Customers also have the choice to top up their burgers with unlimited toppings and sauces at no extra charge. To complement the mains, Griddle & Shake has carefully chosen sides including skin on fries, sweet potato fries and crispy onions so that there’s something for everybody to enjoy.

Ice cream shakes are Griddle & Shake’s speciality and with thousands of customisable flavour combinations, it’s not surprising that they’re irresistible. Griddle & Shake has teamed up with the sustainable and longest established craft lager brewery in Britain Freedom Brewery to offer a range of craft lagers, ciders from Kopparberg as well as Brewdog’s Vagabond Pale Ale, making Griddle & Shake the perfect place to catch up with friends over a drink.

Ed says: “I am delighted to have launched the first Griddle & Shake restaurant in Nottingham. As a passionate burger enthusiast, I can’t wait for people to immerse themselves in the Griddle & Shake experience. We have worked closely with local businesses including local interior designer Tracy Annable (www.homebytea.com) as well as West Bridgford grocer, The Fruit Basket. Every member of our herd has been carefully selected to ensure that our customers receive top notch food, refreshments and customer service.”
