Tallents Solicitors raises thousands of pounds for charity

Tallents Solicitors in Newark, Southwell and Mansfield have raised an amazing £7,370 for charity will writing campaign Will Aid in November 2021 and they have been crowned the second highest donating firm in the East Midlands!

The solicitors at Tallents volunteered their time and expertise during Will Aid month in November 2021, helping more than 100 clients have a valid will in place. In exchange, these happy clients made a donation to Will Aid, who then shared the monies raised between nine partner charities.

Sarah Allen, partner and Head of Wills, Trusts & Probate department said: “It has been a difficult couple of years for everyone across the world but by participating in Will Aid we are able to both help people in our local communities write a will, and support nine charities who are trying to make a massive difference in people’s lives during the global pandemic.

John Coulthurst, Community Legacy Manager from the British Red Cross presented the Private Client team from Tallents Solicitors with their Will Aid certificates noting their incredible fundraising achievements. He said: “Every day, charities like the British Red Cross are helping people around the world in desperate need. Initiatives like Will Aid are vital to help charities like ours continue to be there for those through the worst of times. We are incredibly grateful to Tallents Solicitors for their continuing support.”

Of all the legal firms who participated in Will Aid 2021, Tallents Solicitors was placed 13th overall in the United Kingdom and has raised an incredible total of £61,303 in fund-raising donations for Will Aid since 2015.
