Tag Rugby Tournament

In May, a team of Year 7 girls from Colonel Franks Seely School in Calverton were invited to take part in a Tag Rugby Tournament at Newark RUFC based on their previous performances.

There were some outstanding performances from the girls including tries and agility getting around the opposition. The team came 2nd overall out of 11 teams that took part.

PE Teacher Miss Oldham commented “I am very proud of the girls – they were an asset to the school.  This was a great chance for the girls to improve on their match performances in readiness for the School Games which take place in July. Well done.”
