Success for Southwell young cricket stars
SEPTEMBER was an exciting month at Southwell Cricket Club with two big successes. Firstly, big congratulations to Will Ashworth who has won the Nottinghamshire Cricket ‘Game Changer Young Volunteer’ award for 2024. He has been superb in helping develop our younger players in our 1st Team and our Sunday side. A very well deserved award.
And that isn’t the only bit of good news from the club this month! Isobel Stevenson has made it through the County Trials and will be a Nottinghamshire U13 Girls Player in 2025. She has trained hard this year, captained Southwell’s U11s, played in our U13s and featured in our new Women’s Team. This reward is well earned and very deserved.
Congratulations to both Isobel and Will!
