Southwell Town Bowls Club

The new season is close upon us once more and our Subscription Night will be held on Friday 11 April at 7 pm in the club house.

A Ploughman’s Supper will be available at a cost of £5.00 and tickets are available from Stephanie Warren on 815131. Please bring whatever you drink. Full membership is £65.00; playing social is £30.00; social is £10 and junior is £30. There is a joining fee of £5.00 where applicable.

 The green is scheduled to open on Saturday 19 April and there will be a bowls drive that day commencing at 2.00 pm. Social evenings have been very successful this winter, and the last of the season will be held on Friday 25 April in the clubhouse to which all are welcome. I remind all members and all the bowling fraternity that entry forms are available for our Open Pairs and the D.J. Hall triples competitions to be held in June and those wishing to enter these competitions must submit entry forms as soon as they can.

All bowlers will be interested to know that Paul Best’s sportshop in Bullyard is able to provide bowling supplies and equipment.
