Southwell Tennis Club Tournament

LAST month, Southwell Tennis Club ran a Mixed Tournament for its members. 

There were six men and six ladies who all played against each other in a round robin consisting of six rubbers of 32 points. 

Thanks to all who played and helped organise the day, and congratulations to the winners – Alan and Rebecca. Another tournament is planned for 16th December. 

The club also enters teams in local leagues. Our second mix team played their first winter league match against Nottingham’s The Park Tennis Club on Sunday 15th October, winning 62 games to 46. 

The tennis club has a membership of over 140 across all abilities and age groups – Juniors, Family, Adults and Seniors. Membership entitles you to free use of the courts with access to the online booking system; use of the clubhouse; and participation in social play and social events. Half price membership is currently available.
