Southwell Summer Funday 2014

Book the afternoon (12 noon – 4pm) of Saturday 21st June to come along to The Burgage for Southwell’s annual Family Funday.

There’ll be lots to see and do for little ones and older ones too! Plenty to eat and drink, with the Hearty’s BBQ and refreshments, cups of tea and cake and of course those scrummy icecreams from Newfield Dairy Icecream Parlour. The boats and and water balls are back, along with the bouncy castle, the have a go archery and the fun community stalls – come along and see what prizes you can win along with many crafts to make and take!

The music this year will be live, lounge jazz by Ratcliffe, Martin & Wood. In addition Marcus Farnsworth will be giving us a little taste of the Southwell Music Festival with his madrigal singing group. Look out for Lowe’s Wong Infant School maypole dancers who will be performing too. Have a chat too with your local police and fire and rescue service, also joining us for the afternoon. And don’t forget our lovely entertainer with his stilt walking, balloon modelling and circus skills workshop.
