ANOTHER dimension was added to the existing association between Southwell and its twin town, Sees in France, when a group of 36 pupils from the Minster School set off on April 3rd to spend twelve days with their pen friends’ families.
The party was officially welcomed to Sees by the Mayor who gave the school an engraving which was presented to Mr Perry, the Headmaster, on our return.
During their stay, the pupils attended lessons in the two schools in Sees and visited various places in Normandy.
We look forward to welcoming our French, friends here in June and, hope that this successful exchange will be the first of many, enabling more pupils to experience French life at first hand.
