Southwell hosts 5th Gymnastics Competition

LAST month Active4Today were delighted to host their 5th Annual Invitational Gymnastics Championship at Southwell Leisure Centre, where 200 boys and girlsfrom the age of 5 years upwardstook part in a floor and vault competition. 

The event is designed for children to have fun in a competitive setting and participationmedals were given to all gymnasts with bronze, silver and gold medals awarded to the top three gymnastsin each category.

The children all performed to a fantastic standard and had great fun being able to showcase the skills they have developed throughout the year in front of their families. 

It was particularly special as it was their first big event since Covid and so it was great to have everyone together and see the children have so much fun. 

Active4Today runs gymnastics and trampoline courses at Newark Sports and Fitness Centre, Ollerton and Southwell Leisure Centres as part of their Xperience membership programme.
