Mrs Paula Isaac was the demonstrator at the April meeting. Her most unusual arrangement was intended to depict her arrival home after giving a demonstration.
It included material from the trees in front of her farmhouse, a few white carnations representing starlight and behind was a circle of glass representing a window through which could be glimpsed a light and another small arrangement supposedly inside her house. The vote of thanks was given by Margaret Groves.
Club members have arranged an outing to Harrogate Spring Show later in the month. Towards the end of April Mrs Veronica Gibbs will be taking a Day School for us. Mrs Gibbs is the immediate past President of NAFAS, and we are privileged to have her teach us.
