ALTHOUGH on field sessions have wound down, the winter is not without activity at the cricket club.
The annual AGM is at The Reindeer Inn in Southwell on 17th January at 7.30pm where all club members, parents and carers have the opportunity to have their say on the 2023 season. We are keen to ensure all get the opportunity to be involved in the key decisions that determine the direction the club is taking, from the juniors through to seniors including ground and social aspects.
The senior winter nets have also commenced and are held every Monday, between 8-9pm at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground until the start of the season. If you are looking to get back into cricket, have moved into the area or are looking for a new challenge, we would be excited to welcome you to our family orientated, social club.
With a raft of promising players coming through the junior ranks, it looks like a bumper season ahead. The summer will bring opportunities for the younger squads, Dynamos and All Stars to get back into the swing of cricket as we ensure we continue to provide fully qualified coaches at every level. Friday night sessions begin on 5th May from 6pm.
Tickets are still available for the annual Sportsman’s Dinner, hosted at Trent Bridge on 21st April 2023. This year’s guest speaker is Robert Croft – to book your tickets, contact Chris Miller on 07841 029874.
