SBU crowned Six-a-side Summer League Winners

GB Ladies hockey team weren’t the only winners this summer. After Southwell Brincliffe United’s 1st team won the Notts Premier Division and league cup last season, it was the turn of SBU’s 2nd /3rd team players to bring home the silverware, when they were crowned winners of the Rushcliffe six-a-side summer league tournament.

The new season is almost here, so if you’ve been inspired by GB women’s efforts and fancy being the next Maddie Hinch or Holly Webb, dig out your old stick, or borrow one from us and come and give it a go! All equipment provided (including goalie kit)!!

We’re looking for new players of all ages and abilities for the 2016-2017 season.

SBU have an exciting new coaching team for this season provided by MT13, coaching both our junior and senior teams.

Senior training: Wednesdays, 6.30pm – 8pm (starts Wednesday 7th September). Junior training: Wednesdays, 5.30pm – 6.30pm (starts Wednesday 14th September) at: The Minster School, astro-turf pitch
