Santa Float Routes 2019

You may have seen Santa making his first appearance this year at the Late Night Shopping event switching on the Christmas Lights.

The big man himself is now out and about with his cheerful helpers and the Southwell & District Lions float and will be touring Southwell and the surrounding areas until 23rd December. The routes have been changed this year due to the temporary road diversions and the extra houses especially in Farnsfield.

The Lions and Santa are looking forward to seeing the children, parents and grandparents during this festive period. If you miss them during their evening rounds, they will be outside the Admiral Rodney on 21st December from 8.30am to 1pm.

Mon 16th Maythorne, Bechers Court, Bleasby, Thurgarton
Unfortunately, as we have to visit even more houses and regularly have struggled to finish on time, we will not be visiting Gibsmere this year.
We will review again for 2020.

Wed 18th Farnsfield: covering new Bellway and Miller homes 
We can’t be too sure of the timings as we’ve made some changes, in particular to visit all the new houses around Esam Close and Pasture Way.
We might have got the hang of the front and back doors on the Ridgeway houses, but apologise in advance if we inadvertently knock twice.

At the time of preparing this route, we were assured that the roadworks on Halam Road would be finished by the end of November.
We may be delayed if we have to travel to Halam via Kirklington Road.
