BLUE Barn opened its doors earlier this year as a deluxe, rural self-catering barn for couples, friends and families alike!
Spread across one oor, Blue Barn offers a master bedroom with king- size bed and en-suite, second bedroom with bunk beds and sofa bed, main bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, living area and small secure garden with parking area.
Bed linen and towels, tea/coffee and a small bottle of milk are provided. The Barn has under oor heating; the living area and master bedroom have multichannel TVs and wireless internet is available. A log burner is situated in the living area – perfect for getting cosy on those winter nights.
“We are proud of what we have accomplished with Blue Barn, cre- ating an idyllic, relaxing place for people to stay” explained Kate, who runs Blue Barn.
“My husband Chris is an Arable Farmer and I work seasonally as an Assistant Ecologist and part- time Gardener alongside running Blue Barn. We love wildlife and the countryside, and the Barn has an emphasis on this with the care- fully chosen décor and eco-friendly products. Guests can view a vari- ety of bird species in the wildlife garden from Blue Barn, which is located on the edge of our small- holding. Guests are also welcome to come and meet some of the animals with prior arrangement, and we are always happy to chat about wildlife and what we can do to help provide habitat for them to thrive!”
Well behaved dogs are also very welcome at Blue Barn and why not bring your horse on holiday too?
