Rugby U7s undefeated in Matlock

At the end of their first season in tag rugby 10 players from the Southwell U7s squad travelled to Matlock to take part in their annual end of season festival.

Southwell took on teams from Nottingham Moderns, Mansfield, Matlock, Melbourne and Ashbourne returning home undefeated!

It’s been a long season and it was great to see the boys enjoying their final game, starting to work together as a team and running in some fantastic trys. A great day for both players and parents who enjoyed some excellent rugby and fine weather. Roll on next season!
