Rugby Juniors go into Action

During September Southwell Rugby Club formed a Junior section for Mini Rugby.

Since then they have been training hard for their first match which took place on 22nd November when they played at home against a recently formed Worksop team.

Two matches were played, one by the under 10’s and one by the under 12’s. Southwell won the under 10’s and Worksop won the under 12’s.

All in all a very satisfying and encouraging result for both sides.

Southwell are still accepting new members in their Junior section.They meet at 10.30 every Sunday morning for practice and tuition which is free.
