On Saturday 15th August a group from Southwell Rugby Club participated in a 100km cycle ride.
Starting and finishing at the clubhouse the cyclists passed through Newark before continuing into Lincolnshire and Leicestershire. Weather stayed fine throughout. A new set of cycle jerseys in the style of the rugby club was commissioned for the occasion, which also previewed the new club emblem, celebrating the upcoming centenary of the club.
Riders timed the event to coincide with Reach UKs Ride London virtual event, in honour of the well loved Tonya’s Challenge. £245 was raised.
