Southwell Junior Theatre Club presented a revue entitled ‘Comedy and Two Veg’ on 22nd October at the Minster School, Nottingham Road.
All the children taking part had written most of the items themselves including sketches, adverts and jokes.
There are 25 members of the club aged 8 to 14 years, who meet each Saturday morning at Burgage House Youth and Community centre on King Street from 10am until 12. Each year the club members perform their own productions and some of the older embers join the senior club for the annual Christmas pantomime which this year is Sleeping Beauty.
