Retired Reverend to ride pilgrim’s route

AFTER turning the ripe young age of 70 and retiring, the Reverend Phil White has decided to embark on an epic adventure to raise money for complex autism care and education charity Prior’s Court – which is very dear to Phil’s heart.

Phil has decided to start his retirement by cycling the 420 miles from Bilbao to Santiago along the Camino De Santiago setting off on 29th August.

Prior’s Court is an Autism charity dedicated to transforming the lives of those with complex Autism. For more information see: www.priorscourt.org.uk. Phil very much hopes you can support his effort by helping and donating to his just giving page: www.justgiving.com/page/ philwhite. Phil has already raised £1,195 and is hoping reach his target of £5,000 so all support is very much appreciated to help change the lives of these young people.

Rode Cycles in Southwell has kindly donated some equipment to help Phil on his way. Rode is Southwell’s premier bike shop offering premium luxury bike brands, parts and accessories with a wealth of expertise to provide all forms of servicing and repairs.

Bleasby Primary School will be supporting the ride by cycling the 420 miles collectively back home and tracking Phil’s journey along the way. We will be sharing aspects of Rev. Phil’s journey on the Bramley Newspaper’s instagram and Facebook pages in September. Good Luck Rev. Phil!
