Nottingham Forest FC ambassador and former captain John McGovern is pictured using the new eBay Drop-Off service at his local Argos store. To celebrate the launch of this new service, John is dropping off a pair of signed football Boots worn by Danny Fox and a pair of Michail Antonio’s match worn shorts which were auctioned by eBay to raise money for local charity Forever Stars.
Richard Daniels, Co-Founder of Forever Stars says “Forever Stars are delighted at the amount of money raised for our charity as a result of the eBay Drop-Off service charity auction, the process has been so simple and has really helped us spread the word about stillbirth support and the need for resources in this area.”
eBay recently announced a new pilot ‘Drop-Off’ service in four Argos stores in Nottingham. Local eBay consumer sellers will be able to drop off a sold item at an Argos store and it will be shipped direct to their buyer.
With a fixed delivery price and convenient high street locations, the new ‘Drop-Off’ service will help make selling online easier. The service is priced to compete with traditional shipping methods and takes away the hassle of working out postage costs and queuing to drop off an item.
The eBay ‘Drop-Off’ service is available now at the following Argos stores in Nottingham:
Sellers will be able to post a parcel, which will be fully tracked and signed for, from £3.80. Full details are available at www.ebay.co.uk/drop-off
