New recruits for Southwell Firefighters

CONGRATULATIONS to Ben and Ruben on successfully completing their development and becoming fully qualified firefighters.

Reaching competency as a firefighter is no small achievement. It takes immense dedication, commitment, resilience and hard work over many months of training, assessments and operational experience. Along the way there are challenges, high points and low points, but both Ben and Ruben have shown the determination and professionalism needed to succeed.

Their achievement is a credit to them, their families, colleagues and the instructors who have supported them throughout their journey. We are proud to welcome them as fully competent firefighters and look forward to seeing their careers continue to develop.
