The award winning Lowdham Pantomime Group will soon be performing their latest production, ‘Treasure Island’. The show based on the classic novel by Robert Louis Stevenson features all the usual characters, Tess and Squire Trelawney, Jim Hawkins and Billy Bones, Blind Pew, Ben Gunn and the evil baddie Long John Silver, boooo!
In addition on stage will be the comedy duo Fore and Aft, Dame Molly Malone, and comic Pirates, Swab, Skull, Scurvy and Cornish Patsy, The Ghost of Blue Beard and a few other surprises including The Stormy Weather Boys a sea shanty singing ensemble of salty old sea dogs from Bingham.
Will the gallant Jim Hawkins rescue his beloved fiancé Tess Trelawney from the clutches of the evil Pirate Captain Long John Silver and his cut throat crew of pirate buccaneers? Will Jim find the buried treasure before Long John Silver can steal the booty? Shiver me timbers matey, plenty of slap stick, laughter, pirates, tears, songs, dances and more pirates in a show for all the family. Bring the children for a fun night out. Oh yes it is!
