Local Estate Agent encourages Food Bank Donations

Last year the Southwell and Newark offices of Alasdair Morrison & Partners helped to raise nearly 113kgs of food for Newark Food Bank with their innovative Reverse Advent Calendar, which encouraged customers to donate non-perishable goods to those in need in our community on the days leading up to Christmas.

Following on from this success, Alasdair Morrison & Partners are going to be running this campaign again in 2018 and would love to see if they can beat last year’s total raised.

For the month of December, Reverse Advent Calendars have been placed in their Newark and Southwell offices and customers and staff are being asked to donate a much-needed item each day of December to fill the advent calendars up.

The items being collected will be donated to the Foodbank, who have been helping local people in crisis by helping to combat poverty and hunger in our community.

The donated items will be given to the Newark Foodbank on 6th December to allow enough time for them to be given to those in need in Newark, Southwell and the surrounding areas before Christmas.

If you are able to help, then please bring non-perishable items to the offices of Alasdair Morrison & Partners at 26 Kirkgate, Newark or 22 King Street, Southwell before 6th December.
