Highest Award for Youngest Musician

 Six year old Jane Gill, of the Ropewalk, Southwell, won first place at the Lincoln Music Festival last month.

Jane was the youngest musician but her piano solo was judged to be the best in the Under 9 age section.

She is a pupil of Mr Geoffrey Greed who teaches piano at the Minster School and was guest artiste at the Save the Children Fund lunchtime recital this Friday.

Jane also plays the violin and recorder and attends Lowes Wong Infant school.
