Guides thank Helpers

The Commissioners and Guides of Southwell Division of the Girl Guides Association invited trainers, testers, friends and supporters of the Division to a Social Evening in the Trebeck Hall on Thursday 18th November.

During the evening, Miss Susan Summers, Division Commissioner presented Thanks badges to Mrs Daphne Hughes of Cauldwell House and to Mr Graham Thompson of Southwell Venture Scouts.

Over many years, Mrs Hughes has trained Guides from the Division for their Child Nurse badge. Mr Thompson has spent many hours training guides for outdoor badges and when guides are in the camp, he instructs them on pioneering skills.
