The Friends of Sées Twinning Association, which has been running for 33 years, is keen to welcome new members and families and is holding an Open Evening on Tuesday 31st March in the Riverside Centre, King Street, Southwell at 7pm.
Entry to the event is free. Guests will enjoy a free drink on arrival and Noelle Booth from La Parisienne will be demonstrating some recipes from Normandy and you will have a chance to taste this delicious food! The committee will also be available to tell you more about the twinning association and of our partner town Sées in Lower Normandy.
This year it is the turn of our French friends to visit Southwell. They will be arriving on the evening of the 23rd October and leaving early on Tuesday 27th October. They will be hosted in the homes of members and there will be a programme of interesting events for everyone. The committee is eager to recruit some new hosts (especially families with youngsters) from Southwell and the surrounding area, who hopefully will go over to France in 2016 for the reciprocal visit (timing of visit still to be agreed).
