Freddie is New British Champion!

Speed Skater Freddie Polak has just been crowned the new British Champion in his category at the short track Speed Skating Championships held at the National Ice Centre in Nottingham.

A pupil at Bleasby C of E primary school and star of the CBBC series Ice Stars, Freddie won the Pee Wee 2 category, winning all his heats, semis and finals in all distances.

Later this year, Freddie will be competing in the European elite star class championships.
