There is good news for one cat following last month’s appeal for a home: after a year of waiting, Frankie has at last moved in! Could two other long-term cats be moving soon?
All three were rescued by local charity Animal Accident Rescue Unit, which wants to finally rehome Ginny and Chester – plus numerous others. As Ginny’s fosterer highlights: ‘Ginny’s about 6 years old, loves salmon and craves affection.’ Chester’s carer explains: ‘Chester’s about 4 years old, is most friendly, loves company and his food!’
All the charity’s cats are “snap” FIV/FeLV blood-tested, for which both are clear – wormed, flea-treated, neutered, micro-chipped, litter trained plus vaccinated. Each new owner must continue the vaccinations.

The charity recommends its cats stay indoors for 6-8 weeks, and are kept in overnight. All adoptions need successful homechecks, with no rehoming on or near busy roads excluding indoor cats.
