Fine Wine makes the cut

Chris and Gosia Bailey, owners of Mr and Mrs Fine Wine of Southwell have been shortlisted for the final of this year’s Newark Business Awards.

Gosia said “We are thrilled that the judges felt we should be nominated for the main award of ‘Business of the Year’.

“It has been overwhelming and a privileged to have been put forward into this category, and to be the ones representing Southwell especially after such a turbulent year for so many businesses, it really has helped to boost morale and lifted moods.

“We absolutely love what we do, we have a great team here at the Wine Bank, and really, it’s down to our customers that we owe so much to, especially the support they have shown us over the last 18 months.

“We’ve been able to re-open the wine bar after what seems a long time of not socialising and it’s been great to see familiar and new faces enjoying the atmosphere and the wines. Having this nomination and being acknowledged to be in the final really means so much to the team and we just want to thank everyone for their continued support.”
