Film returns to Lowdham!

The Bookcase, organisers of Lowdham Festival, has lots of plans for the year with a busy programme taking shape which they hope you will enjoy.

The first exciting piece of news is that film is coming back to Lowdham! In partnership with Lowdham Village Hall, Film Friday is being launched, a monthly film night beginning on 23rd January with two special Sing-Along screenings of the hugely popular Disney film, Frozen at 4.30pm AND 7.30pm at LOWDHAM VILLAGE HALL. Come along, meet the characters and join in with the singing (words provided!). There will be a bookstall plus refreshments, including ice cream, popcorn, home made cakes, hot and cold drinks, and a licensed bar at the evening screening.

The First Friday programme will begin again on 6th February and there will also be a lovely event for foodies on Sunday 1st March in Lowdham Village Hall, Cooking the Books. There will be a fabulous selection of food stalls, plus talks and a Pudding Club evening.

And finally a special book festival for children and families to celebrate World Book Day will take place on 7th and 8th March!
