Festive Fundraising for Beaumond House

Christmas will soon be upon us and Beaumond House Community Hospice is excited about its upcoming festive fundraising events.

The charity is delighted to have once again been invited to be a part of the forth coming Christmas Extravaganza at Norwood Park. The event this year will take place over three days, starting on Friday 1st December with a Preview Evening running from 7pm – 9pm. Ticket are £15 each and include a glass of bubbly on arrival, canapes, live music and shopping at around 50+ stalls. The evening will be held in a large marquee on the lawn. A second raffle will run over Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd December with prizes set to include high value experiences.

On Friday 8th December the Southwell Lions are holding a Christmas Party with a difference! The Preloved Christmas Party will take place at the Admiral Rodney in Southwell. All guests will be expected to dress in clothing bought from the Beaumond House shop on Queen’s Street (or the Newark Charity Shop) with prizes for best and worst dressed on the night. Tickets are £10 and are available from the Beaumond House shop in Southwell. The ticket includes a light buffet supper and music. Guests should bring along sales tickets as proof of purchase and a chance to enter the prize draw. Do come along to support the wonderful Southwell Lions in what promises to be the most fun filled Christmas party this year.

On Saturday 9th December, if you need coffee and bacon sandwiches to wash away the over indulgences of the night before, come along to the Beaumond House Christmas Market taking place in Southwell Library from 10am to 2pm. Festive goodies and gifts will be available all in support of Beaumond House, with an on site café – a wonderful festive shopping opportunity right on your doorstep.

Finally, the annual Light up a Life and Carols in the Castle service takes place on Thursday 21st December at Newark Castle. Gates open at 5pm, with the service beginning at 6pm and will include carols, readings and time for reflection and remembrance. There are various ways for you to dedicate a message to a loved one.
