This year’s Southwell Ploughing Match & Show will be held on Saturday 24th September at Farnsfield, providing a fantastic day out for all ages.
Immerse yourself in rural life at this award winning Show, staged across eight carefully sited rings each with their own full programme of events for the day from horse jumping, parades of vintage tractors, to the amazing display from the headline main ring performance of the incredible Little Imps Motor Cycle Display Team!
There are classes for horse, vintage and modern tractor ploughing, alongside the usual array of livestock classes and static displays. Entries for the Dog show can be made on the day, this event has become extremely popular with pedigree and non-pedigree dogs in the last few years.
There will also be an extensive Produce Marquee displaying a vast selection of horticultural and domestic produce, as well as over 90 stalls in the Craft Marquee and Farmers Market. Not to mention the 125 carefully selected Trade stands where there is something for everyone.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a large and varied range of fresh hot food and refreshments available throughout the day within the trade stand area, near to bars and the main rings, as well as picnic places around most of the show rings.
The Southwell Ploughing Match and Show is the largest but still authentic agricultural one-day show in the county! And is still the same format that won it The Best Country Event of the Year throughout the UK!
