VISITORS to this year’s Nottinghamshire County Show are being urged to buy their tickets before 1st May in order to save themselves £5 on admission price.
With less than 50 days to go until the show, the deadline is fast approaching for visitors to get their advanced tickets at a discounted price, with this year promising to be the biggest and best show yet.
Now in its 132nd year, Nottinghamshire County Show will be welcoming a host of new and exciting attractions to Newark Showground on 9th and 10th May, when the much-anticipated Family Zone comes to the show for the first time.
Jayne Olney, show manager of the Nottinghamshire County Show, said: “Now is a great time for visitors to get their tickets as they can save £5 if they buy in advance. For families, this means they could save themselves up to £10 on the price of two adult tickets and under 17s go free.
“The show is a great event and will be the perfect way to keep everyone entertained. We are very much looking forward to this year’s show as we really have pulled out all the stops to make this one the best yet.
“This year we have introduced the Family Zone and are adding in more to the Countryside Area so that there is even more on offer come rain or shine.”
Brand new for 2015, the Family Zone inside the George Stephenson building will provide a range of interactive games and entertainment for families. Visitors will also be able to see headliners, Savage Skills in the Family Zone and Broke FMX in the main arena as they amaze the crowds with dare devil bike stunts.
The Countryside Area will be home to new-born lambs over the weekend where visitors can help to feed them. There will be a falconry display and much more.
Advanced tickets are available to buy online, from selected outlets and over the phone now until 1st May for only £10. Under 17’s go free. Tickets are £15 on the gate.
