Celebrating their commitment to nurturing crafts and craftsmanship, the Harley Foundation presents Work Life: Life’s Work.
The exhibition provides a glimpse into the diverse work produced in the Harley Studios, showcasing the talents of 22 artists and sculptors, restorers and potters, metalsmiths, and conservators.
Work Life: Life’s Work offers visitors the chance to explore the work of the remarkable makers currently in residence. Each studio has produced work specifically created for the exhibition. This exhibition promises to intrigue and inspire the imagination of every visitor.
Alongside Work Life: Life’s Work is a dedicated making studio bursting with materials and different activities suitable for all ages. The making studio is free to use and will be open throughout the exhibition. It will also host a weekly programme of events, including hands on sessions, workshops, and talks. The programme includes a pottery workshop with Kyra Cane, children’s musical instrument workshops with Phil Neal and the opportunity to make your own recycled sculpture with Michelle Reader.
