Edingley Open Allotments weekend will be held on 12th – 13th July and will include the popular scarecrow competition which will extend to the village with a display on the old schoolroom lawn.
Judging of the scarecrows and the allotments for the John Hill cup for the best kept plot will be undertaken at 2pm on Saturday 12th, so all scarecrows must be in place by then (and the last weed removed?).
This will be followed at 3pm by our traditional non-denominational allotment service in the open air followed by a little light refreshment (gleaned from the allotments themselves).
