Located on the outskirts of Southwell, Crink Lane Nursery has always been a haven for plant lovers and enthusiasts.
Set up by Sally and Steve Moloney over 20 years ago, the yard was originally purchased to house their large collection of plants and bulbs, which they supplied to Shows and Markets. However after realising the potential for a nursery, the couple focused their plant skills and knowledge into creating what is now often referred to as Southwell’s little secret.
Since Steve’s death in 2013, Sally and her team have ensured the nursery continues to thrive, with a huge variety of shrubs, trees, plants and bulbs. Amongst their best sellers are the giant gerberas and their vertical flowering Walz Jubelteen fushcia. This was discovered by Steve and is guaranteed to keep on flowering throughout the season. Wherever possible Crink Lane uses English suppliers throughout the year, with a large number of plants coming from Spalding in Lincolnshire.
Crink Lane also has a large collection of baskets and containers, which can be personally made up to order. Examples of Sally’s green-fingered creations can be seen outside most of Southwell’s pubs and eateries including the planters outside the Old Theatre Deli and the Admiral Rodney.
Not sure when to plant your Dutch bulbs or which bedding plants to choose for your garden? With their wealth of gardening knowledge, the team at Crink Lane can offer advice so you can ensure your garden will be looking its best at all times.
With the support of Dave Tinley and his shop fitting expertise, the nursery has also been rearranged this year, with the entrance extended to provide easier access and additional parking,
