Christmas Tree Festival raises £600

Southwell Methodist Church would like to thank everyone who visited its annual Christmas Tree Festival and helped to raise £600 for the Southwell Pink Ladies Cancer Support Group.

There were many beautiful trees decorated by local groups, clubs, charities and businesses.

Organisers Kath and Rosemary said: “A very big thank you from Southwell Methodist Church for all the lovely trees you have displayed. It was a lovely sight to see. We hope you enjoyed coming along and being part of it.”

Kim Thornton a visitor from New Zealand was also on hand demonstrating the art of lacemaking.
