Lovers of craft and hand-made goods can enjoy a new event in nearby Kelham on Sunday 22nd November.
‘Christmas Crafts at Kelham Hall’ will have over 85 quality local and regional crafters presenting their own work. Their traditional and contemporary skills promise to inspire you, whether you are a crafter yourself or you are looking for an original Christmas gift! The event has been organised by an experienced and specialist craft event organiser; all the friendly craftspeople have been carefully-chosen with care for their skill and originality.
There is no ‘bought in’ or vintage so everything you see will be made by the person the other side of the table. Amongst the many types of craft will be textiles, wool (alpaca / sheep), wood, glass, leather, pottery, soap, candles, driftwood, jewellery, ceramics, cross stitch, bears etc. All are the organiser’s approved crafters.
Alongside emerging trends in craft, expect to see extraordinary traditional skills, some with a contemporary edge; a few of the crafters will be demonstrating their skills.
Admission is £4pp with under 16s free of charge. Open 10am to 4pm. Free parking.
