Southwell Lions President, Richard Legg presents the Bob Eastty Memorial Shield to representatives of Lowes Wong Junior School on October 4th.
The shield was presented to Lowes Wong as the local group who collected the most money in the sponsored swim organised by the Lions Club earlier in the year. Lowes Wong collected £130 and the total collected at this event was £750.
The money was used to buy an electrical page-turner for a locally handicapped youngster. The Bob Eastty Memorial Shield will be presented annually to the organisation or group which raised the most money in the annual Sponsored swim.
