Caunton Tennis Club Championships

A fantastic day was had by all at the recent Caunton Tennis Club Championships, with superb tennis played and lots of juniors playing in their first tournament.

Coach, James Harding said: “It was so enjoyable to watch and see how much every single player has improved. Congratulations to all the worthy champions!”

Winners in each category were: Mini Red Jacob Cameron; Mini Orange Joshua Mackender; Mini Green Jack Jarvis; Boys 16 & Under Tom Braithwaite; Girls 16 & Under Isabella Chapman; Men’s Singles George Strawson; Men’s Doubles Charlie Hunter & George Strawson; Ladies Doubles Maria Cotton & Gill Siddall; Mixed Doubles Maria Cotton & James Rich; 2017 Futures Award Jacob Cameron and 2017 Most Improved Player Tom Braithwaite.
