Busy month for Playgroup
On the 4th and 5th June we celebrated our 5th birthday. The children arrived and immediately threw themselves into the party spirit, playing games like match the picture, pass the parcel, etc. They then sat down, donned party hats and tucked into finger sized sandwiches, wobbly jelly and milk. Each party had its own beautifully decorated cake and at the conclusion of the parties each child reluctantly left clutching a piece of cake and a balloon, having thoroughly enjoyed the occasion.
Tuesday 16th June saw our Teddy Bear’s Picnic and sponsored obstacle race. Each child brought their favourite teddy bear or cuddly toy and had a small picnic style tea and played supervised games. On the arrival of the mums, our offspring commenced the obstacle race, attempting a maximum of six rounds of the course. Each child had great fun and proceeds from this event go to Playgroup funds.
