Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2015, the Minster Chorale is a friendly choir which meets once a week and performs services and occasional concerts in Southwell Minster throughout the year. In its twenty-year history the choir has performed a wide range of music, ranging from plainchant and Renaissance polyphony, through to contemporary works by Bingham and O’Regan, via many light-hearted arrangements. It has also toured Ireland, and sung in many other venues in the UK. Future plans include a celebratory performance of Handel’s Messiah (December 19th) and a tour of the Channel Islands in 2015.
