Sherwood Archers is a well-established archery club in Southwell, and we would like to invite you to join us. Our ground is at Maythorne Cottage Field on Lower Kirklington Road, Southwell.
Archery is a sport for everyone: both genders, all ages and strengths, able-bodied and disabled. We all shoot together, which makes it an ideal family sport. Some of us shoot just for the pleasure of shooting and improving, others enjoy competitive shooting, and we have members who shoot at local, county, regional, national and international competitions.
We have a team of qualified coaches who help at our beginners’ courses, and are available to coach beginners, juniors and seniors on Friday club-nights. Members have the use of the field for practice throughout the year, and during the winter we use our indoor venue at Rainworth.
