Located in the Methodist Church Hall Prebend Passage Southwell
Prebend is a friendly, caring Preschool which aims to provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children aged between 2 and school age to learn to socialise, develop emotionally, intellectually and physically through well planned play.
Staff develop good relationships with the children and provide a variety of free choice and adult led activities linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum based on the children’s interests. Ofsted’s latest report rated Prebend ‘good’ in all areas. Situated in the Methodist Church Hall close to the centre of Southwell, children have access to a large indoor space, outdoor area and a sensory garden. We also have unique access to the beautiful Sacrista Prebend gardens which enables us to run Woodland Learning sessions weekly.
Preschool sessions run daily term time between 9am and 3pm. We also offer 2 hour sessions (9am -11am and 1pm-3pm), Early Years Starter Sessions where parents can stay and play, Short Notice Sessions, Visitor sessions for children not registered with our Pre-school and a Summer Holiday Club. 2 year olds with parents claiming benefits or with siblings receiving free school meals may be entitled to 15 hours funding.
