Newark & Sherwood Community Transport incorporates two services.
Hospital Transport takes people who find accessing transport difficult to medical appointments across Newark & Sherwood. Clients need to book about a week in advance and pay a set charge to the volunteer driver.
Door2Door is a social car service that takes clients over 60 or with mobility problems to social appointments such as clubs, Day Centres and leisure activities. Clients pay an annual registration fee of £22 and the drivers mileage at 43p per mile.
Our team of volunteer drivers use their own cars so all clients need to be able to get in and out of an ordinary car.
