The Lace City Chorus – six times national champions – is Nottingham’s only women’s Barbershop Chorus. Barbershop singing, four part ‘a cappella’ harmony, is great fun. With membership at around 70 women we rehearse at Colonel Frank Seely Academy, Flatts Lane, Calverton, NG14 6JZ on Wednesdays at 7.15 pm and a small group of about 10 of us live in Southwell and surrounding villages.
