An informal green network for Southwell and local area, for people working in and interested in the environmental, green energy and ethical sectors. We meet on the second Tuesday of the month at the Hearty Goodfellow, at 8pm.
The primary aim of these monthly Green Drinks is to develop a local, social and supportive network for people with an interest in sustainable development, but the gatherings spark ideas and actions that different attendees are welcome to collaborate on.
The group hosts talks, promotes local sustainable initiatives via its Facebook page, organises community litter picks in spring and autumn, and is exploring further ways to help the Town cut its carbon emissions and improve local biodiversity.
