Awards and Fabulous Dining at The Cross Keys

The Cross Keys in Upton are delighted to announce that they have not only made the Good Pub Guide 2018 for the fourth consecutive year, but also the Good Beer Guide – quite an achievement!

October sees the launch of their new menus for the Autumn/Winter period.

The Tenner Fest Menu (2 courses for £10 lunchtimes Mon-Sat & Wed-Sat 5-7pm) sees the inclusion of Thai fishcakes, Cannelloni filled with spinach, soft cheese and wild mushrooms baked in a creamy cheese sauce and Treacle Sponge along side the ever popular Nougat Glace.

The Everyday Menu now includes dishes such as Franck’s wonderful Steak and kidney pudding, Smoked haddock risotto topped with a poached egg, Spicy meatballs in a rich tomato sauce served with pasta and garlic bread, Curried cod loin topped with north atlantic prawns served with pilau rice and several other new additions including gluten free options

October also sees the start of our Curry Night. Replacing Burger Night the evening runs every Thursday, when for just £10 you can enjoy one of three curry sauces with your choice of chicken, lamb, fish or vegetable all accompanied by pilau rice and a naan bread.

November marks the start of our Loyalty Cards where diners receive a stamp for every main course ordered from the Specials Board, and after 11 the 12th is free. One main from Specials board per person, per card.

Christmas Dining

Bookings are now being taken for groups and parties throughout December. Enjoy a fabulous Festive Lunch or Evening meal from our special Christmas Menu, priced 1 course £15, 2 course £20, 3 course £25.

Following on from the fantastic success of last year we will be open again on Christmas Day. With two sittings; first arrive 12noon to eat at 12.30pm (tables required by 2.30pm) and second arrive 2.30pm to eat at 3.00pm. Prices remain at £65 per head for 3 courses followed by Coffee and Mince Pies and a glass of Prosecco on arrival. Menus now available, last few tables left!
