Athletic Squad takes Top Spot Twice!

Lowe’s Wong Junior School’s Indoor Athletic Squad won the first round of the Newark and Sherwood Indoor Athletics Competition.

Eight school teams took part with second placed Chuter Ede scoring 82 points. The Lowe’s Wong team scored 108 to take the top spot.

The team then went on to represent The Minster Family of schools in the Newark and Sherwood Finals, against four other schools, and won again with an overall score of 74.

The team will now go on to represent Newark and Sherwood at the finals to be held at Nottingham Trent University.
